On Sunday morning 18 November 2018, the Apostle Mogane served the Alabama Ext 2 Congregation in the Klerksdorp District.

The Bible word shared was from Isaiah 59:1, "Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear." To the joy of the congregation, several souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The final stop on the programme was a visit to the Orkney Congregation. The Bible word shared was 1 Peter 1: 3 – 5, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." Several souls were also added to the fold when they received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The visit of the Apostle brought much-needed comfort to the congregation who sadly experienced the demise of one of its members in the early hours of the morning, sister Mabel Pincham who died at the age of 91. On the Sunday, she and her husband Roy would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. The Apostle managed to visit her in hospital the night before and served her with Holy Communion.

Overall the weekend that was filled with much joy, but also some sadness, proved to be most blessed indeed!
