On Sunday 6 May 2018, Young People from the newly formed Embalenhle and Evander districts
gathered in Embalenhle for a special Divine Service conducted by the District Apostle Helper, MP Makhwanazi.
As basis for the Divine Service, the Apostle read a Bible word from Exodus 3:4, “So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said ‘Moses, Moses!’ And he said, ‘Here I am’.”
Moses was called to fulfill a purpose and he responded positively to God, even though he thought he was not good enough to approach King Pharaoh. Moses was reluctant to accept the calling at first, and instead responded with a number of excuses, among them that he was slow of speech, but God assured Moses that He would be with him. Moses accepted God’s call, because he developed trust in God. To respond to God's call, we must learn to understand our Faith.
The Apostle reminded the young people about the message received from the Chief Apostle at YPC18218 – we must come to Christ without hesitation and follow His example.
After the Divine Service, the District Rector Bentley Adams shared information about the International Youth Convention scheduled to take place in Düsseldorf, Germany in 2019.
