Despite the circumstances in the area, members of Hanover Park could experience a special surprise visit from District Apostle J Kriel on Wednesday 10 July 2019.

The Bible word for the divine service was taken out of Luke 11 a portion of verse 2, “Your kingdom come...”.

The District Apostle explained that he is aware of the difficulties the members face while travelling to divine services. Furthermore, he encouraged those in attendance to continue to believe, follow and pray.

The District Apostle concluded the service by thanking God for granting the members the grace and special angel’s protection on their way to the church, and for allowing them to partake of word and sacrament.

Hanover Park is often in the news for gang-related violence. However, this does not deter members from attending midweek divine services. Sadly, they are forced to assess the area before leaving their homes. If there is any risk of the members getting injured they have no alternative but to stay home.
