The New Apostolic Church celebrated the divine service for the departed on Sunday, 7 July 2019.
On this occasion, District Apostle J Kriel was in Lobatse, Botswana; which is a small town located some 80km south of the capital Gaborone. Lobatse means ‘hide some-away’. The natives were instructed by their chief to hide-away some of the cattle at the height of the Mfecane.
The District Apostle was accompanied by Apostles P Liwakala and P Lambert.
16 visitors were among the 138 members who attended this festive service.
As a basis for the divine service, The District Apostle read a Bible word out of the book Galatians 6: 9, "and let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart".
The two Apostles served along, and also stood as proxies for the dispensation of all three sacraments to the departed.
