On Saturday 2 March 2019, District Apostle J Kriel enjoyed fellowship with the Rectors and wives from the Sedgefield area.
After a blessed afternoon, the ministers and their wives started their final preparation for the divine service for the departed.
On Sunday 3 March, the District Apostle conducted the divine service for the departed in the holiday hub of the Garden Route, Sedgefield. He served the congregations of Sedgefield, Ruigtevlei and Karatara.
The Bible word Psalms 145:18-19 was used as a basis for the divine service, “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.”
After the celebration of Holy Communion, the District Apostle also dispensed the Holy Sacraments to those in the realms of the departed for whom Apostle Cronje and Bishop Stephens stood as proxies.
After the divine service, the District Apostle took time to greet the congregation.
