The sense of expectation was tangible and one could sense that the congregation of Heideveld had prepared well for the visit of the District Apostle.
The Bible word Romans 1:11-12, was used as a basis for the divine service which was conducted on 30 November 2016. “For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established - that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.”
The District Apostle explained to the congregation that although the Apostles are not perfect, they strive to set the perfect example according to the apostolate.
Apostle Lambert and Bishop Barron were also called to serve.
After the divine service, the District Apostle enjoyed a few special moments with the members.
