On Saturday, 30 March 2019 at 17H00, King Williams Town congregation was the venue for a divine service conducted by District Apostle J Kriel.

The sermon was based on the Bible word 1 Corinthians 10:16-17.

The District Apostle commended the singing of the choir; the sacrifices made by all in preparation and the beautiful flower decorations. He also added that although it adds to the festivity of the divine service, the ultimate focus remains the divine presence of our Heavenly Father and the celebration of Holy Communion at His altar.

Bishops Nel and Von Schaeffer were called upon to serve along.

The members were in no rush to leave the church building after the divine service and took the opportunity to greet the District Apostle.

On Sunday 31 March 2019, the District Apostle conducted a divine service at Rhodes University for the Grahamstown area in the Eastern Cape.

The Bible word used as basis for the divine service was taken from 1 John 3: 5.

The recorder presentation by the Sunday School children prepared the way for Apostle Nene who was called upon to serve along.

The joyful singing of the choir concluded the divine service after which a spiritually uplifted congregation had the opportunity to greet the District Apostle.
