On Sunday 17 March 2019, District Apostle J Kriel conducted a divine service in Bosmont, Johannesburg.
Accompanying him was the District Apostle Helper P Mkhwanazi, the local Apostle S Mogane as well as the Apostle J Joubert. Members from across the Southern Africa area could also enjoy the blessing via the audio-visual transmission on NACTV.
The Bible word shared by the District Apostle was taken from Proverbs 13:22 (portion), "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children."
The message from the District Apostle reinforced the 2019 motto "Rich in Christ" and the NAC-SA theme of "Year of the Child". Members were reminded to collectively invest wisely into the spiritual well-being of our children.
The Apostle Joubert was also called to serve along. For this call-up, the children in each connected congregation - around 15000 - played their recorders in unison with the children in Bosmont. This served as preparation for the upcoming Divine Service for Children with Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider on Saturday, 11 May.
At the end of the festive service, the District Apostle made announcements relating to
- an update on the NAC-SA Burial Fund, the details which will be shared on a NACTV broadcast on Thursday, 23 May.
- the video address by the Chief Apostle on the subject of "Concept of ministry" on Tuesday, 9 April.
- an update on the consolidation process and the future restructuring of the Apostle areas.
- the upcoming visit of Chief Apostle during the weekend of 11-12 May.
