Divine services were conducted for all Sunday School teachers from the area of Apostle Nene
on Thursday, 11 July 2019. They gathered at various venues across the Eastern Cape to form part of these blessed moments.
Fernwood Park and Gelvandale districts gathered in Fernwood Park Congregation where Apostle Nene conducted the Divine Service.
East London and Dimbaza districts gathered in Oxford Street Congregation where Bishop W Von Schaeffer conducted the Divine Service.
Sunday School teachers from the newly established district of Makhanda, which was formally known as Grahamstown and Alexandria districts, gathered in Klipfontein Congregation where the Divine Service was conducted by Bishop A Nel.
The Bible word used, was taken from Galatians 6:9 - “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
The congregations were spiritually motivated and urged to continue in doing good, especially in this very crucial sphere of God’s work. They were encouraged to persevere and to always work in love with these tender hearts, the Sunday School children.
After the divine services, all were invited to enjoy a warm cup of soup, freshly baked roosterkoek and bread.
