17 April 2016 was an exciting day for the new youth of 2016 in the Delft Bishop Area, because it was their first service in the ranks of the youth.

In the absence of Apostle Worship and Bishop B Adonis, District Elder M Duister conducted the youth service in Erica West. For the divine service the Bible word used was from the book of Zephaniah 3:16,17 “'. . . . Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak. The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with his singing’”. After the reading of the Bible word, the new youth were welcomed into the ranks of the youth. Each block in the wall represented a task: motivation, solution, confidence and influence. These words formed part of the divine service. District Elder T Wagenaar, Shepherd W Behardien and Priest La Meyer served along. After the conclusion of the closing hymn all who celebrated a birthday were congratulated and the birthday hymn was sung.
