On Sunday, 15 September 2019, 129 priestly ministers from the Lavistown District gathered at
Valhalla Park Congregation to participate in a Soul Care Visit (SCV) drive in the area. The aim was to reach the members who were unable to receive a SCV during the year, due to violence and instability in the area. A total of 167 families were reached on the day. The ministers were supported and directed by the local ministers, as well as the confirmands.
Many blessed experiences were made by the ministers, as well as the visited families. In some instances the Priests were randomly called into the homes of unknown NAC members. Plans are afoot to roll out a similar drive to other affected congregations in the area.
