On Wednesday 22 May 2019, the Apostle R Worship served the congregation of Nooitgedacht.

It was the Apostle's first visit to the congregation following the recent Apostle Area boundary changes.

"It's good to be back in Nooitgedacht," said the Apostle at the commencement of the divine service. "I worked in the area about 30 years ago and was here for a choir practice about 20 years ago. I'm happy to be back."

The Apostle also reminisced about the years when the now retired District Apostle N Barnes served as a choir conductor in the congregation.

As basis for the service, the Apostle read a Bible word from John 6:26-27, "Jesus answered them and said, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him’.”

The Apostle encouraged the congregation to continually strive for that which serves to eternal life by, among others, being disciples of Jesus Christ.

Several souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit and three priests and three deacons were ordained (two priests for the congregation of Erica West and one priest and three deacons for Nooitgedacht).

Blessed moments were experienced by all present.
