On Sunday 01 January District Apostle J Kriel conducted his first New Year’s Day divine service as the leader of the New Apostolic Church Southern Africa when he served the combined congregations of Caledon and Uitsig. 

The congregations of Parkwood Central and Parkwood North, which are both part of the Grassy Park bishop area, were overjoyed when they heard that the newly ordained District Apostle J Kriel would be conducting the last service of 2016 for them in Parkwood Central.

On Christmas Day 2016, Table View Congregation received a Heavenly gift by being served by the newly ordained District Apostle Kriel.

On Sunday 18 December 2016, Silvertown was dressed at its festive best, marking an event which will certainly be recorded in the history of the New Apostolic Church.

On Saturday 17 December 2016, Leiden Central was the venue for a festive concert held for our Chief Apostle.

After an initial rush to get to the church in Tafelsig, the congregation of rectors and their wives settled down to a reverent silence which was intensified by the programme of music before service.

After a visit to the historic Palmyra Road church, which now celebrates its 110th anniversary, the Chief Apostle took the time to visit the Administration Office in Southfield.

From as early as 07:30 on Wednesday morning 14 December the invited guests to this historic visit of the Chief Apostle to Cape Town started arriving.
