The dawn of Sunday, 16 December 2018, concluded the period of intense planning

and preparation and gave birth to an atmosphere of great excitement and expectation of divine blessing and fellowship at the altar of the Lord.

Congregants of Factreton East and Kensington North merrily welcomed District Apostle J Kriel to share in a feast of word and sacrament in the congregation of Factreton East.

The melodious sound of the orchestra ensemble and the colourful rendition of the choir echoed the sentiment of a blessed encounter in the presence of the Almighty. This festive encounter was complemented by the beautiful and harmonious rendition of the hymn “Christ is here, can you sense Him, can you feel His presence? He is here to move your soul…”

As basis for the divine service the District Apostle used the Bible Word John 1 verse 14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth”. Apostle Worship was also called along to serve.

After the divine service the District Apostle expressed his gratitude for the prayers and preparation of the congregants and wished all a blessed and joyful festive period. This blessed encounter will linger in the hearts of God’s people for many days to come.
