It is at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit, the provincial capital of Mpumalanga, where Chief Apostle J-L Schneider together with District Apostle J Kriel arrived from Johannesburg at 11h55 for his South African visit from 23-26 February 2017.

Mpumalanga, the name which literally means, “the place where the sun rises" in the Swazi, Xhosa, Ndebele and Zulu languages, is a province situated in eastern South Africa bordering the nations of Swaziland and Mozambique.

The official engagements of the chief apostle started almost immediately after his arrival. From the airport, they travelled just over 32 kilometres to the newly constructed Ngodini church that was built by the congregation.

The Chief Apostle, District Apostle, District Apostle Helpers, Apostles and Bishops were welcomed by the congregation with a traditional song and dance. At the altar, the Chief Apostle, in his address, bestowed a blessing to the congregation for the newly built church that was followed by a prayer.

After the proceedings in the church the responsible Apostle L Meyer, took the international leader of the New Apostolic Church and his entourage on a guided tour of the Ngodini Township. Considering that the Chief Apostle had an overnight flight from Europe, it was then off to some much needed rest to prepare for the evening’s engagement, a dinner fellowship with the regions apostles and bishops.
