Youth from Impalila, Caprivi Lodge, Itomba, Mafuta, Linyanti, Katima, Makusi, Bukalo, Kongola and Chantuhu districts attended respectively. Other districts from the far east of Zambezi region did not make it due to rainfall and bad roads.
The youth were heartily welcomed by the host youths of Katima district. Some of the youth came with their own tents and erected them around the church premises. The brothers were accommodated at Ngweze church, while all sisters were accommodated at Katima church. About 140 youth were registered on the Friday.
On Saturday morning the youth were divided into two groups. One group was sent to Katima and the other group was sent to Ngweze congregation for a cleaning campaign. Around 09:00 Bishop Boniface Masule gave the youth facilitators some lectures on the youth guide, MIS and many other presentations concerning the welfare of the youth in the New Apostolic Church.
After lunch the youth had other lectures regarding educational matters. Sister Mwenda Libanda, the educational convener  of the NAC invited the faculty officer Ms. Rejoice Chata from the University of Namibia (UNAM) and the youth asked a lot of questions regarding the entry requirements at the University of Namibia. After the lectures the youth had choir practice to prepare for the divine service on the Sunday.
The highlight of the youth gathering was the divine service on Sunday the 19th of February 2017 by Bishop Boniface Lubasi Masule, accompanied by District Rectors. About 363 youth attended the divine service and the Bible word was taken from the book of James 2:15-17. District Elder Bornface Matengu from Bukalo and District Evangelist Lubinda Mutumba from Kongola District served along in the youth service.
After the closing anthem Bishop Masule encouraged all the youth to participate in the choir. He also announced the new Bishop-Area coordinator brother William Muhamubi Mbukusa, replacing the late Priest Alfred Masuku Mahela. Brother Muhamubi will be assisted by Community Evangelist David Mulowa. Apart from that Bishop Masule informed the youth to teach the Sunday school children and be ready to welcome the confirmands after their confirmation in April 2017. The Bishop also encouraged the youth to prepare for the international youth outing to Cape Town next year 2018 around February.
